Designed for those who are spending at least £50,000 monthly on paid search, Marin Search Marketer® addresses the workflow, analysis, and optimization needs for large-scale SEM campaigns, saving time and improving financial performance. Over 180 customers collectively manage in excess of £700 million of annual search spend via Marin's application. Customers include University of Phoenix, Neo@Ogilvy, Razorfish, Reply! and ZipRealty. • Paid Search Advertising is a Large, Rapidly Growing Market. While traditional advertising is losing steam, paid search advertising (also known as search engine marketing or SEM) is large and growing fast. According to JP Morgan, paid search in the United States is expected to grow 23% annually, from $11.8 billion in 2007 to $26.8 billion in 2011. Over the same period, international markets are projected to grow 34% annually from $10.2 billion to $33.1 billion.

Performance marketers specializing in lead generation and customer acquisition also are using the technology; early adopters include Trouvé Media, W3i and Viveli.
• Experienced Team in Search Marketing & Enterprise Software. The executive team consists of search marketing and enterprise software veterans with experience from: salesforce.com (IPO), Siebel, Oracle, Yahoo!, Adteractive, Ingenio, Paychex, Pilot Network Services (IPO), Schwab, Andersen Consulting, J Crew.com and Mercer E-Business. Responsibilities:
• Manage and cultivate client accounts with a goal of creating stickiness and growth.
• Update and train clients on all new product releases, via the web and face to face.
• Accurately track account activity in CRM tool, while creating satisfied and reference-able customers.
• Negotiate and demonstrate value of long term contracts
• Develop and sustain knowledge of Marin Software’s offerings and associated technologies.
• Oversee all facets of customer on-boarding and implementation, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Develop strong executive level relationships and penetrate multiple client lines of business to further attain stickiness.
• Reports to Sr. Director of Accounts.
Required Skills/Experience:
• 5-7 years of experience online media, selling software or software-as-a-service.
• Agency experience and a track record of successful agency business proliferation highly preferred.
• Track record of high customer retention in past positions.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Previous Sales Methodology training preferred.
• Search Marketing industry experience highly preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast pace, team environment.
• Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel.
Compensation:
Full-time salaried position with competitive incentive performance component -- compensation dependent on prior experience. Position includes equity participation and comprehensive benefits (healthcare, vision and dental).
