Product Manager

Marin Software provides a browser-based, enterprise-class paid search management application for advertisers and agencies. Designed for those who are spending at least £50,000 monthly on paid search, Marin Search Marketer® addresses the workflow, analysis, and optimization needs for large-scale SEM campaigns, saving time and improving financial performance. Over 180 customers collectively manage in excess of £700 million of annual search spend via Marin's application. Customers include University of Phoenix, Neo@Ogilvy, Razorfish, Reply! and ZipRealty. Marin is backed by Amicus Capital, Benchmark Capital, DAG Ventures and Focus Ventures.

Marin is seeking to add an outstanding individual with strong prior product marketing experience to our product team. This position reports to the VP of Products.

Responsibilities
• Work with Sales and Client Services and external sources to research, refine, and document requirements
• Benchmark plans against competition
• Justify and prioritize requirements to fit into product modules and development timeframes
• Project-manage engineering and QA work for relevant areas; perform QA work as necessary
• Provide training and documentation for relevant areas
• Support Sales, Client Services, and Marketing teams

Requirements
• Quantitative Bachelor degree from top school
• 3 or more years of hands-on knowledge of javascript, PHP, web analytics, and/or other web technologies
• Successful experience leading high-performing peers in a project-based team setting
• Experience in two of: enterprise software, product management, working with customers in a B2B setting
• Strong written and oral communications skills

Compensation:
Full-time salaried position – compensation dependent on prior experience. Position includes equity participation and comprehensive benefits (healthcare, vision, dental, and commuting).

This is an onsite position at Marin Software’s headquarters in San Francisco’s financial district (2 blocks from BART). Contract-to-hire applicants are OK.
