As such, Marin Engineering employs a unique ‘Iterative’ team, which is tasked with responding rapidly to product shifts with new, high-profile, high-impact, proof-of-concept features and enhancements.

Responsibilities
• Driving the delivery of cross-technology, cross-platform features.
• Developing seamlessly across the many technologies we use today
• As necessary, incorporating new technologies into our systems
• Collaborating with Product, Support, and Marketing teams to solidify product ideas into concrete feature specifications

Requirements
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• Fluency in Java; familiarity with one or more of: PHP, Python, Perl
• Web-application development experience (fundamentals of CGI)
• Knowledge of AJAX/HTML/CSS and UI design
• Knowledge of web services (SOAP, REST)
• Experience with Hibernate, Spring, MySQL a huge plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong Candidates Will Have
• An enthusiasm for Data Structures, Algorithms, and Complexity and Impact Analysis
• A natural ability to pick up new languages and technologies
• A passion for keeping up with the latest technologies,
• Previous experience in folding in new technologies into an existing, long-term architectural vision
• A natural predilection for the technology industry and supporting business models (advertising, social, commerce)
• A high sense of urgency and desire for success
• A can-do attitude
• A high GMAT or LSAT score

Compensation
Full-time salaried position – compensation dependent on prior experience; Marin pays market-leading compensation for top performers. Position includes equity participation and comprehensive benefits (healthcare, vision, dental, commuting reimbursement)
