Client Services Associate (Technical Associate)

Designed for those who are spending at least £50,000 monthly on paid search, Marin Search Marketer® addresses the workflow, analysis, and optimization needs for large-scale SEM campaigns, saving time and improving financial performance. Over 180 customers collectively manage in excess of £700 million of annual search spend via Marin's application. Customers include University of Phoenix, Neo@Ogilvy, Razorfish, Reply! and ZipRealty. Marin’s Client Services organization is responsible for “on-boarding’ of client prospects as well as ongoing customer support. Marin continues to build out its Client Services organization to support substantial customer growth. Our current needs are for individuals with technical skills and search marketing industry skills to be applied in on boarding and supporting Marin’s customers.

Responsibilities: 
Marin’s Client Services associates support our “on-boarding” process which features full integration with Marin Search Marketer during our fully functioning, trial. The on-boarding process requires Client Services associates to work directly with our prospects to understand their website environments and how they’ve currently integrated paid search. This knowledge is then used to provide seamless integration of Marin into a prospect’s environment, addressing tracking and revenue capture.
Marin also is currently building out its Client Services portal which serves as the foundation of Marin’s customer support network. Client Services technical associates will be expected to contribute to the ongoing development and support of this resource.

• Develop and sustain knowledge of Marin Software’s offerings and associated technologies
• Provide feedback to improve Client Services
• Reports to Director of Client Services

Qualifications:
Required Skills/Experience:
• One or more years of Web-Based programming (PHP5, Java)
• Strong understanding of URLs, URL Encoding, and parameter passing
• Coding Javascript, HTML, CSS2
• Relational databases/SQL queries (MySQL preferred)
• Microsoft Excel formulas and macro language
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Understanding of software development principles
• Understanding of website analytics tools
• Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, Power Point
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment

Additional Relevant Experience (Not Required but a Plus)
• Search Marketing (Running PPC Campaigns in Google, AdWord, and Yahoo!)
• SalesForce (APEX APIs)
• Affiliate Marketing

Compensation:
Full-time salaried position with incentive performance component -- compensation dependent on prior experience. Position includes equity participation and comprehensive benefits (healthcare, vision and dental).

This is an onsite position at Marin’s headquarters in the Financial District in Downtown San Francisco.
